Need help choosing a new saddle? Is your current saddle not as comfy as you hoped? The team at PRO Bikegear have created the PRO Saddle Selector process. This is a 7 step process designed to determine the optimum saddle size and shape for your body. The process takes into account the particular cycling discipline (road, mtb, tt, tri), the gender of the rider, flexibility and anatomy.
PRO saddles are available in a choice of widths to suit different anatomies. On a saddle, your weight is taken by the ischial tuberosities - the sit bones - on your pelvis. The width of the sit bones varies between riders. The width of sit bones can be measured at Avantiplus Hobart using a special PRO measurement tool. This service is complimentry when you choose a PRO Bikegear saddle.
Come in and let us help you select the right saddle for you.

Avantiplus Hobart now has the equipment to do custom shoe-fits with the Shimano Custom Fit range of cycling shoes. The process of involves heating the insole and shoe in a special oven and then molding them to the shape of the cyclists feet in vacuum sealed bags.
