After a previous life in engineering I have evolved over the last 15 years to have an understanding of both the technical and customer relations fields of the bicycle industry. I have competed, helped and supported countless triathlon events, sponsored riders and given my time to assist the community. This has given me great appreciation and admirability for the bicycle industry. I hold a level1 triathlon coaching certification and continue to help junior athletes. In the past I have been involved with a couple of world champions assisting with their bike setup and equipment requirements. I was also selected to be race mechanic for a couple of Australian Pro Triathlon series. I enjoy riding my Avanti Quantum Team and am into surfing and snowboarding. Lesley
I came from a gymnastic backgound, through to my late teens competed on a regular basis didn't have a bike as a kid due to my sister being hit by the garbo truck , deemed to dangerous for a gymnast. First came to enjoy riding when we bought a cycle shop when I was 39 had to learn pretty fast as all my three sons were competing at a high level I did my first triathlon on my 40th birthday on one of my sons bikes my other sons shoes too scared to trim the gears, thought I had broken the bike . Have gone on to Half Ironman and marathons and bits in between. Currently in semi retirement cycling for enjoyment & fitness and jogging on the beach with my running partner Gus who has four legs.
