Best Upgrade ever!!

I have just had these fitted on my 29.1 Montari and the difference is really noticable compared to the factory Suntour V3. I highly rate these shocks and would reccomend them to anyone wanting a cheap upgrade. I really like the remote lockout and that I can adjust the shock with ease. Best Modification I could have made.

Almost 12 months on and still an awesome fork!

After a year of use I thought I'd give an update. These forks are still awesome. There has been no air leakage, etc so they have remained pretty much set-and-forget<BR>
One feature I really like using is the handlebar mounted remote lock-out switch that came with the forks. Press the red button going uphill and it locks the forks completely. Great for crankin' that singlespeed up a tough climb. Then press the blue button at the top and you've got 100mm of travel again instantly<BR>
These forks are an absolute bargain and you will not be disappointed.

Awesome 29er fork

I put the M-29 fork on last week and then spent a couple of hours doing Grade 3 and 4 trails at Whakarewarewa, Rotorua on Saturday. I had a rigid steel fork before putting on this RST M-29 and the difference is just amazing. The "rigid" steel fork was so flexy under hard braking that it felt like my headset was loose! Also the rigid fork would bump me off roots and make me lose control on narrow singletrack.

Having the suspension gave me a lot more control (and comfort) over roots and corrugated drainage washouts etc. The fork was very easy to set up, with all control knobs and the remote lockout lever being easy to understand and working as desired. I've used Rock Shox, Manitou's and Marzocchi's on 26" bikes in the past, but these felt far better than any of those.

I did a google search prior to purchase and noticed that these were rated the top 29er product of 2007 on the "twentynineinches" website. In summary; awesome product at an awesome price. Buy them!
