The Scott bikes are constantly impressing us due to Swiss Engineering which makes them the lightest bike on the market. Amazingly enough, Scott also publish the weight of their frames so they’re not just another company who `claim’ to have the `lightest’ frames on the market.
The Addict has become the benchmark in carbon construction, and is known as THE bike to ride in the pro peloton. At a superlight 790 grams, the IMP built Addict is not only light enough to fly up the climbs, it is also stiff enough to win the sprints. It features race inspired geometry with a short head tube, long top tube, and slack seat angle. The bike also features carbon dropouts, front derailleur mount and cable stops.

Become a stronger, faster cyclist with the Road Machine Kinetic by Kurt

Why does the Road Machine by Kurt Kinetics improve your cycling so much?
Because of the super, heavy fly wheel which gives you constant resistance through the pedal stroke forcing you to become a stronger and faster cyclist.
When you’re riding on the road your own inertia carries you over the dead spots in your pedal stroke however on the Road machine trainer there’s no hiding. You’ll need to apply pressure throughout the whole pedal stroke and in time you’ll eliminate the `dead spots’ in your pedal stroke, making you a more powerful, faster cyclist.
The Road Machine Kinetics by Kurt is an impressive training tool which receives great reviews because its the best trainer around for endurance training and for sprint training. It can handle the high loads of sprint training without slipping and its remains quiet when you’re doing power work or high cadence training.
If you want to make yourself a better cyclist, or get more out of the time you spend in the saddle, then the Road machine is the way to do it. They’re available now at Lifecycle for $579.95.
Surly Long Haul Trucker
Long Haul Trucker (frameset)
$625
The Long Haul Trucker is your ultimate Chromoly touring bike. It’s got a low BB and long stays, ample tire and fender clearance, and mounts for everything from fenders to racks to extra spokes. Plus the frame tubing is thicker walled and larger diameter, so this pre-tunes it for carrying cargo weight. It’s stable, comfortable and fun to ride, even fully loaded with gear.
The LHT frameset that we have in stock is available a 26″ wheel version, plus we can get hold of the 700c version in sizes 56, 58, 60, and 62cm. Although many people like the ride of 700c wheels, in many parts of the world 26″ is the more common size, so you’ll be able to find replacement tubes, tires, and rims more easily should the need arise. Smaller wheels are also stronger than their 700c counterparts, so they’ll stand up better to rough roads and heavy loads. Both of the wheel sizes accommodate pretty big tires with mud and fender clearance for a smooth ride.
